Only a week after hip surgery, Groenewegen was unable to take part in physical testing but impressed clubs in his one-on-one interviews.
Archer and Milne performed exceptionally well at the screening day at the Melbourne Aquatic Centre, where they were top-shelf among the talls.
``They both did terrifically well and have done everything they can to put their names forward. They are a chance come the draft, but there are no certainties,'' Tasmania's high-performance manager Nick Probert said yesterday.
Archer posted an impressive time of 2.98 seconds for the 20m sprint, which was faster than the times set by Tasmania's best draft hopes -- Ryan Harwood, Marcus Davies and Jesse Crichton -- at the draft camp.
Milne excelled in the beep test, posting a result of 14.3, which was the best of the talls at the screening day and would have placed him just outside the top 10 at the draft camp.
``There's not a lot of tall players in the draft this year and there's not a lot of access to draft picks for the other 16 clubs next year because Gold Coast has nine of the top 15. So clubs are looking extra-close at tall players. They are coming into contention more than normal,'' Probert said.
``That doesn't mean our boys are going to get drafted, but it means they've got a better chance this year than other years.''
Probert also issued a warning to Tasmania's draft hopefuls.
``They have to think about the fact they may not be drafted and be ready for that, and have a back-up plan in place,'' Probert said.
Burnie Dockers Maverick Weller and Luke Russell already have been drafted by AFL newcomer Gold Coast.
