Coaching, refereeing and School clinics underway

Coaching: Level 0 Coaching courses are still being run. The Course introduces coaches to the basics of the game and has recently been officially recognized by Basketball NSW. As a result this course is a great lead-in to the Basketball NSW level 1 course to be held in the coming months. If anyone would like further information please contact Darren via email darren@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au

Refereeing:Referee courses have begun for the year with a course for new referees being run over the weekend. Four referees took the opportunity to complete the course and they will be in their green shirts commencing their refereeing on the 10th of March.

In the coming weeks there's another opportunity for referees to learn the craft with a session being held on the 10th of March between 10am and 3pm. If you would like further information please contact Sandra on 6652 3539 Also coming up is an action day for badged referees. This will be held on Wednesday April 18th and is open to any referees currently officiating in the local competition.

School Clinics: Development Officer Darren Thomas has been working hard over the past few weeks developing a program for school kids of all ages. Already he has worked with students from Karangi Primary School and is keen to introduce more players to his program. If your school would like Darren to visit and run his clinics or would like some more information please contact the basketball office on 66511452 or darren@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au.
