The 18th Hariri International Tournament

In the first day of the 18th Hariri Tournament , Riyadi started the quest to retain the title by a very big win against Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia on the score of 121-54.

Riyadi who had strengthen its roster with the addition of big two key names Fadi El Khatib and Nate Johnson controlled everything on the court from its first minutes , Nate Johnson had a huge first quarter and scored from everywhere , El Khatib had its favorite hobby  which is scoring from everywhere , Omar Turk had a very big 4th quarter which gave Riyadi a win with the biggest margin ever scored in the tournament .

Nate Johnson from Riyadi Finished with 27pts , Ryan Randle from Hilal with 30pts.

 

In the second game Antranik suffered its first loss against the well known Al Ahli from Egypt , Antranik who missed their shooting guard Lucious Wagner due to an injury received one dat earlier in the scrimmage game against Champville , had a good start but couldn’t continue on the same tempo till the end , the game stood close throughout all its minutes , in the last minute the game was 78-75 from Al Ahli Antranik received an Unsportsmanlike Foul and a Technical Fouls which secured the First win for Al Ahly in the tournament on the score of the 85-75.

 

The tournament will join 10 teams , 6 from the Arab World and 4  from Lebanon .

Egypt : Al Ahli  , Sporting

Morocco : Sila

KSA : Al Hilal

Bahrain : Mouharaq

Jordan : Al Riyadi

Lebanon : Riyadi  - Beirut , Moutahed – Tripoli , Blue Stars , Antranik  - Beirut

 

The teams are divided into 2 groups :

A : Riyadi  - Beirut , Al Ahli   , Al Hilal , Mouharaq , Antranik  - Beirut

B : Moutahed – Tripoli , Blue Stars , Sila , Sporting , Al Riyadi

 

The teams will play each other in the groups , the first two teams from each Group will meet each other in the Semi Final Stage .
