In he second day of 24^th FIBA Asia Championship which is being played in Tokushima-Japan Lebanon had to face the host team Japan who had strengthen its roster by naturalizing J.R. Henderson .Lebanon and Japan had met three times  in the last 3 Asian Championships and Lebanon have a 3-0 record .

This game was a decisive one for the first two spots in the group; Lebanon led from the first minutes of the game but suffered the absence of its star Fadi Khatib who received 4 quick fouls in the first 11 minutes of the game , but the team regrouped and played good basketball through Brian Feghali , Joseph Vogel and Ali Mahmoud who imposed the supremacy and finished the half on the score of 40-34.

In the 3^rd quarter the same tempo continued and the Lebanese Team had a 14 point lead and had a applied a great defense on the key players of Japan especially Brian Feghali who denied JR. Henderson from having a good game , the third quarter finished on the score of 60-52.

In the fourth quarter Brina Feghali and Ali Mahmoud who had fill the gap in the absence of Khatib fouled out and the team suffered from the turnovers committed in the last 6 minutes which produced easy points to the home team and secured a unexpected win for the Japanese National Team on the score of 77-67.
