Lebanese U19 National Team in Turkey

The Lebanese U19 National Team is participating in the Istanbul International Tournament as a preparation for the World U19 Championship which will be held in Novi Sad -Serbia from July 12 to 22 , 2007 .

In the first game in the tournament Lebanon had to face the home team Turkey the 4th in last year European U18 Championship , the game showed a great Level for the Lebanese Team who surprised the Turkish Team with its Level , the Lebanese National Team led the game from its first minutes , the Lebanese players had a great performance and led the first quarter 28-16 , in the second quarter the home team made a comeback and reduced the score at the half 41-38.

In the third quarter the Lebanese National Team continued its good performance and finished the third with the lead 62-60 .

In the fourth the game turned to a very close and full of intensity , the more experienced Turkish team managed to win the game in the end on the score of 74-71.

In the second game Lebanon faced the Jordanian B National Team , the game was a very close one but the Lebanese continued the good performance and managed to secure the game 68-62 .

The Lebanese U19National Team will play on Friday against Turkey for the second time , this game will be a good chance to continue the good performance and preparation for the World Championship.
