Antranik - Beirut Women's Cup Champion

Antranik - Beirut Club managed to add another Women's title to their record after wining the Women's cup for this season against Homentmen -Antelias in the Final on the score of 58-48 .

 

 

 

 

The two teams met twice this year in the League and Antranik had two big wins (Game 1 :94-41 , game 2: 77-44) . The game was a very close one throughout all its minutes , in the end of the first Quarter Antranik - Beirut had a comfortable lead on the score of 20-8 , in the second quarter  Homentmen -Antelias answered by imposing their rythm and by narrowing  the gap to 21-28 .

 

 

 

After the break of the first half the two teams came back to the court with new intentions but nothing changed the tempo of the third quarter continued the same and Homentmen - Antelias continued to put more pressure on Antranik - Beirut players , the third quarter finished on the score of 34-38 .

In the fourth Quarter Antranik made a small run which gave them the lead back to ten points but a couple of three pointers made by Nathalie Sevajian helped her team come back to the game with 3 minutes left on the clock, Christelle Chalouhi from Antranik answered back with 5 consecutive points ( 1 three point & 2 Free throws )  which secured the title for the Arab Champions on the score of 58-48.

Antranik - Beirut: Cherine Cherif (13pts , 12rebs) , Chada Nasr ( 12pts , 11 rebs , 6ast)

Homentmen -Antelias : Nathalie Sevajian (16pts)

The two teams reached the final after wining their Semi Final Games on Firday , Antranik - Beirut won their game against Champville on the score of 70-42 and Homentmen -Antelias won  a big game  against Riyadi 71-57.
