Another good acheivement for Lebanese Women Basketball

Lebanon earned the fifth overall spot at the Francophone Games in Beirut. In the classification games Lebanon won against Mali on the score of 65-57 . Chada Nasr stepped up with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the home team.
Lebanon and Mali kept it close throughout the game. Lebanon played some suffocating defense in the second quarter limiting the African team to just 7 points. The margin grew to an 8-point mark at halftime. Mali adjusted offensively in the third period and tried to change the complexion of the game. They won the period to come as close as 7 points. But Lebanon controlled the game and secured a very precious win .

This win secured Lebanon the fifth place in the Francophone games.

The Lebanese Women National Team had a great summer by qualifying to Level I in Asia for the first time in its second participation and concluded the summer by fionsiging fifth in the Francophone games..
