Sagesse – Beirut created one of the biggest surprises since years  by reaching the Final of the Arab Championship for Clubs. Sagesse who started the Championship  by a very disappointing loss against Kuwait Club which made him play the second round against the Hoem Team Zain who is a strong favorite for this tournament and with the Champions of the past 3 years Al Riyadi – Beirut .

Sagesse had a very bad start in the second round by loosing against Zain, in the second game the match up of the two Lebanese Clubs was a big key for the Ex Arab Champion to step into the semi Finals ,this game was Live or die game situation for both teams  Sagesse created the biggest surprise by defeating Riyadi the club who won all the titles in the Middle East for the past 4 years,Alfa Bangoura was the star of the game with 40 points , he carried his team to one of its biggest wins in the past 4 years.

In the semi final Sagesse was waiting for Kuwait to take its chance for the sweet revenge , Sagesse had another great performance and managed to win the game on the score 99 -92.Alfa Bangoura was again the star of the game by scoring 30 points.

Sagesse will face in the final on Monday Zain in the final at 21:00  , the game is a rematch for the second round game that joined both teams .

A big number of Sagesse fans will travel to Amman – Jordan to back up their favorite team .
