First win for Blue Stars in Asian Championship
In its first participation in the FIBA Asia champions cup Blue Stars managed to win its first game against a big name in the Asian Championships Rayan from Qatar the 2005 champion .
Blue Stars led the game form the first minutes through the great plays of its foreign players John Carter ( 15pts ,14rebs) and William Pippen ( 24pts) .The Lebanese Team welcomed back their star Fadi Khatib who had a big contribution in the game with 15pts and 14rebs .Rony fahed had a great shooting percentage in the 4th quarter with for out of four three points shots made which helped the team to secure the win and to silence the comeback of Rayan. The game finished on the score of 76-68.
