Stankovic Cup - Day 3 : Lebanon 2-0
In day 2 of the 3rd FIBA – Asia Stankovic Cup, Iraq created big problems for Chinese Taipei in the first game of the day , Iraq did extremely well to convert a 34-45 deficit at half-time into a 64-52 lead but the Chinese Taipei more experienced players regrouped and scored a win on the score of 86-77.
In game 2 of the day Kazakhstan created a big upset after beating Iran on the score of 80-67.
In another big surprise of the day the Philippines continued where they stopped and scored a very important win over Jordan on the score of 75-71.
In the last game of the day, Lebanon won the game against Syria after the forfeit of the Syrian team who refused to play . Syria, who had lost both their games so far in the competition, thus suffered their third successive loss.
