Having been involved with the National Junior programme, I have been fortune to see and at times guide some very talented players. Having won the Sydney Cup once, made the final on two other occasions, and getting through to the semi finals twice at the Country Cup, would appear that the teams I have coached have enjoyed more success than most.  

Having watched and been involved in the development of New Zealand players has been both an honour and a joy. I would like to think that I too have developed and continue to grow. It is with this in mind, and the belief that I can make a difference I would like Basketball Auckland to become the leading association in the country.

 My strengths and experiences to help achieve this are:

•   Planning - short and long term.  With over 20 years experience in management and sports administration
• A great technical knowledge and student of physical and mental development, having both played and coached elite athletes at both National and International levels
• Communication
• A positive influence with players to help establish a positive attitude, which includes pride in "the team"
