Bronze Medallion (BM)The core lifesaving award required to participate as a team member in a surf lifesaving service. During the course you will learn about your responsibilities as part of a surf lifesaving team, basic first aid and emergency care skills, surf awareness and surf rescue skills. Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)The base level award for patrolling members. This Lifesaving award requires candidates to participate as a team member in a surf lifesaving service. During the course you will learn about your responsibilities as part of a surf lifesaving team, basic first aid and emergency care skills, surf awareness and surf rescue skills.
