Played at a high-standard in front of 250 screaming fans, the Two Blues prevailed by eight points to be the first premiers in the Bendigo girls' competition.
Eaglehawk kicked clear in the second term but North Bendigo managed to stick with them, falling agonisingly short.
Eaglehawk's Francesca Rinaldi led from the front and was supported by Hannah Cue, Sarah Baldwin and Amy Davis.
AFL Victoria female football development manager Chyloe Kurdas said the grand final capped an outstanding season.
The skills of all players were fantastic," Kurdas said.
A key player for North Bendigo was Jess Watson, who won the league's best and fairest award.
Watson polled eight votes and Marong's Dimity Winning was the runner-up on seven.
Winning also won the league's goal-kicking award with 11 goals.
The Best Conducted Club award was presented to North Bendigo Junior Football Club.
Kurdas commended RegionalOne Credit Union, City of Greater Bendigo, and the Bendigo Umpires Association for their generous support of the competition.
There have been many highlights in the first season," Kurdas said.
"More than 60 girls from in and around Bendigo have played in the competition.
"There are clubs and girls in Echuca, Kyneton and Castlemaine who have shown interest about playing in 2008."
This year the Bendigo Youth Girls league had 15 players attend selection trials for Victoria's team.
