Bendigo Youth Girls Selection Training
The Victorian Under 18 Youth Girls team was announced last Sunday after a gruelling selection process that brought together girls from all three Youth Girls competitions. Twelve of the nineteen Victorian Youth Girls teams were represented in the final list, including two from the new Bendigo competition.
The invite-only selection process saw over sixty girls stake their claim in the history making team, which will travel to Brisbane for a two match series against Queensland's best under 18 players on September 21. Victoria's only female level two coach, Leeann Gill, who is Assistant Senior Coach at Rowville Football Club, will guide the side and is looking forward to her first opportunity to coach girls at a representative level.
Game 1: Saturday September 22
Game 2: Monday September 24
Both games will be played at Coorparoo.
