Rules and Regulations

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

1. The event will be conducted in accordance with the GCR's, these Supp. Regs. and any instructions that may be given on the day.

2. Each machine must display the official name plate supplied to all competitors on the front of their motorcycle. May be fixed to front of existing name plate if present. Headlights must be removed.

3. Each competitor must report to machine examination no later than 9.15 am and produce their current competition licence. PENALTY FOR LATENESS.

4. The only machines to be ridden during the trial are those competing in the trial or authorised officials. Maintenance may be done in the car park area, provided that the motorcycle is pushed to and from the car park.

5. The trial shall be held as all day ride.

6. Any rider failing to comply with these Supplementary Regulations may receive a 25 point penalty or exclusion.

7. The trial will be run under "TRIALS RULES" as per GCR's with the following additions.
At the entrance to each section the rider to advise the observer which line they intend to ride with the flip cards at the section start gate. This may be varied from lap to lap and section to section.

7.1. Riding the White line will incur an additional 3 point penalty.

7.2. Riding the Blue line will incur an additional 2 point penalty.

7.3. Riding the Yellow line will incur an additional 1 point penalty.

7.4. Riding the Red line will incur no additional penalties.

7.5. Sections not attempted 8 point penalty

7.6. Riders must present their scorecards to the scorer at the completion of every lap. (Penalty 8 points for each unattempted section).

8. Substitution of Motorcycle may be allowed subject to the approval of the Clerk of Course.

9. Competitors age is at 31^st December 2005. Proof of age, is required by all riders. Drivers Licence is acceptable.

10. For Sidecar Teams the average age of the team is taken. NB minimum age of any team member is 30 years.

11. This event is being run as a Closed to Club event to allow non-current riders to participate via the use of One Event Licences. Membership to the AJS Moto Trial Club of SA Inc. is included in the entry fee.
