The Veneto Club of Adelaide traces its origin from a group of enterprising people who wanted to keep alive the customs and language of their native land. This group of pioneers who had the vision of building the club wanted the future generation not only to enjoy the elegant physical structure but also to remember them. The club came into official existence on the 26th May 1974. In 84 consecutive weekends and a few weekdays of voluntary labour the Veneto Club came into being.
