The Basketball Association of South Australia are looking for volunteers to assist in a range of areas to ensure a successful 2005 Masters Games Basketball Tournament.Volunteer Support Information
We are expecting over 100 teams to compete in the 10th Australian Basketball Masters Games from the 9th to 15th October, at the Wayville Sports Centre and the Pasadena Stadium. As with any major sporting event, its success is dependant on it volunteer support. All key volunteers will be registered with the Australian Masters games and will receive three types of training prior to the games: Orientation Training, Job Specific Training and Venue Training.

- Computer information
- Statistics
- Public Relations
- Newsletters
- Strapping / Taping
Volunteer Benefits
By volunteering your support, you will receive a games uniform, where possible a free meal during each shift, a games kit bag, free entry into opening and closing ceremonies and insurance cover during the games period.
The role of a volunteer will be both challenging and rewarding and a great way to gain practical experience of the running of a major national sporting event.

SCORERS
If you are a student, teacher or club official interested in involving your students or junior players, or just a keen basketball supporter looking to lend a hand with the 2005 Masters Basketball Tournament we are looking at setting up pool of people to score for teams during the week to enable the games to be a memorable experience for them. There may be a possible reimbursment for their time if agreed by teams, details to follow soon!
