NZ Development Tour for 2014

BBNZ have a NZ Development Tour for 2014 for high performance athletes, to retain in the overall national programme as we look to increase our depth of future potential Tall Ferns and Tall Blacks. This is a significant achievement and Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) is delighted to offer you the opportunity to participate in this unique programme that will continue to develop your skills and provide you with competitive experiences. We aim to emphasize on-going development in favour of finite competition based activities and the long term goal of all programmes is to develop a bigger pool of international standard representatives for New Zealand teams and better prepare eligible athletes for FIBA Oceania and World Championships.

Overall costs of the tour is $3250, which includes international flights, ground transport, accommodation, meals, uniform, tournament related fees, insurance and any misc costs. Below is some additional information regarding the tour.

We would once again like to highlight the importance of following deadlines. Failure to abide to the due dates may result in your invitation being withdrawn and an alternate being selected. If for some reason you are not able to meet the set deadlines than we would appreciate a call/email from you so that we are forewarned. These deadlines are not set lightly. They have a lot of impact on other important decisions that need to be made and your full cooperation is vital to make this tour a success.
