Day 1 Results from U13 & U15 Nationals
North Canterbury U13 Girls had a tough first day at the Nationals in Rotorua with a first up loss to Waikato 60-33 in the morning followed by a close battle with Hawkes Bay finally going down 42-34.
The U13 Boys had an easier day with only one game for the day registering a strong performance in winning 65-38 iagainst Counties Manukau. Their schedule gets tougher on day 2 with games against Wellington in the morning and Hibiscus Coast in the afternoon.
THe U15 girls had an impressive 75-34 win over Hawkes Bay in their only game of the first day and on Day 2 face Western Bay of Plenty in the morning followed by what should be a pool decider in the afternoon against North Harbour.
