Well done to the Harbour U13 and U15 Rep Teams.

Waikato and Waitakere pulled off title doubles at the U15 and U13 tournaments as the BBNZ’s 2009 age group tournament programme came to a close.

The Mooloos dominated the U15 event in Christchurch, defeating Harbour and Waitakere in the boys’ and girls’ finals at Cowles Stadium on Friday afternoon.

They also came within three points of snatching the U13 girls title with a strong finish at the North Shore Events Centre.

But Waitakere held on for a 58-56 victory and had further reason to celebrate when their boys rocketed out of the blocks against Harbour, clearing out for an impressive 100-67 win.
