Dolphinz Basketball Club

Congrats to both Mens and Womens Dolphinz Club teams at the BBNZ Open Premierships (Div 3) Tournament in West Auckland last weekend with the men going through to qualify for Nationals in Porirua as Runner-Up, which included a standout performance in our first game and win by Dev Player Joseph Thomas top scoring on 25pts, and the women fielding some gutsy performances with a new combination and new coaches.

We were entered in through the Harbour association which meant we took on the Harbour name - HARBOUR DBC (DOLPHINZ BASKETBALL CLUB) 'SHARKS' and the HARBOUR DOLPHINZ (WOMEN).

This is great for club ball to compete at the level of most Rep associations and a credit to all players and our organisation. Well done all the players and coaches including our new womens coaches Shane Furness and Richard Morgan and our stand-in Assist Mens Coach Warwick Siddall, and admin staff Debs Stanaway and Rhys Powell.
