Stojkovic joins Harbour

Stephen Dally CEO of Harbour Basketball is pleased to announce the addition of Alex Stojkovic in the role of Development Officer. Alex will take over from Charmian Purcell and will commence his role full-time on Monday 8 March.

Alex who previously worked for Harbour Basketball has been living in Tauranga and has been the owner/coach of the very successful Western Bay Suns CBL franchise. He has enjoyed his time and has been involved in developing many young athletes who have gone on to play in the New Zealand age-group system.

Part of his role here at Harbour Basketball is to have a very hands-on role with the representative programme which Alex is extremely excited about. He will also be working alongside and assisting in organising the Associations community programmes and coach development requirements.

"I am really looking forward to returning to Harbour Basketball again and working with such a great group of people that make up the Association. I had three wonderful years in Tauranga but it is now time for a new challenge and working for the largest Basketball Association in New Zealand fits that bill. Harbour Basketball is providing me an opportunity to work in an area that I am very passionate about especially in developing and implementing new programmes to educate and strengthen player and coach development. I look forward to supporting players and coaches to achieve their goals as well as becoming part of one of the most progressive Associations in New Zealand." - Alex Stojkovic.
