A Reserve Men

Final - The Ballerholicz (B Grade men Winter League 09 champs) are moving up the leagues with a    win over team Devo.  Romeo Manlangit was the difference as he scored all the Ballerholicz first quarter points as his team lead 13 - 8 at the end of the first. Login Oliver from the Devo team lead his teams charge but couldn’t close the gap as the Ballerholicz took control at the half way stage with the scores 22-18. The second half was won by team Devo but they couldn’t close the gap as the Ballerholicz managed to hold onto the lead with the final score 37 - 34 and claim their first A Reserve championship.

B Grade Men

Final – Northside Bombers make it two in a row with a 9 point win over Line 7. The Bombers captain Karl Jorgensen led his team with 20 points and an early 14 – 6 first quarter lead.  Josh Mark had all but one second quater points for Line 7 scoring 9 of his 12 points with the scores still in favour of the Bombers 22-16 at half time. The third quarter saw scores even out with Line 7 going into the final qurter down by 7 but couldn’t close the gapwith the final score 47 – 38 to the Northside Boonmers.

B Grade Women

Final -The all Dolphinz  finale was  all tied up at the end of the first quarter with the scores locked at 7 all it wasn’t until the second where the XT Dolphinz pulled away with a 5 point hull from Anais Panier and then another 5 point hull from Racquel McBirney to take the XT Dolphinz to a 19-15 lead at half time. But it was the third quarter that decided this game with the Dolphinz being outscored  3 – 18 with Anais Panier scoring 12 of her 20 points in the Quarter. The Dolphinz played great defence in the fourth and keeped “XT”  to just four points but it was to late as the XT Dolphinz held on to beat the Dolphinz 41 – 25
