Basketball New Zealand is excited to release new national programmes for Player, Coach and Referee Development. These programmes have been developed from the BBNZ Game Plan and align player, coach and referee pathways and programmes.

Affiliated Associations are invited to nominate coach and referee educators to be trained in the new BBNZ development programmes.

There are three streams of training available:

Kiwi Hoops Trainer

• Trained to deliver the Kiwi Hoops Coach and Kiwi Hoops Referee courses.
• This is a one day course (the first day of the training workshops)

Coach Zone Trainer

• Trained to deliver the Kiwi Hoops Coach course and the Community Coach course.
• This is a two day workshop.

Referee Zone Trainer

• Trained to deliver the Kiwi Hoops Referee course and the Community Referee course.
• This is a two day workshop.
