The Pacific Slam tour is a regional initiative of the Basketball Pacific Associations, comprising of Basketball Pacific (Comprising of Zone 1 & 2 Basketball Assns), Basketball Pacific Central (Comprising of Zone 3 Basketball Assns) and Basketball Pacific South (Comprising of all South Island Basketball Assns).

Zone 3 Basketball Assns Include: New Plymouth, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Hutt Valley, Taranaki Country, Porirua, Wellington – Kapiti, Wanganui and Palmerston North.
