NPBA U15 rep teams came away with a win and a loss on day one of the BBNZ U15 National Tournament hosted by Wellington Basketball Association this week. The Girls beat a stronger than expected North Canterbury 65-57 to secure a win in Pool 4 of the Girls competition.

The Boys came up against a much harder Harbour team going down 69-101. There were flashes of brilliance in the team though with Connagh McKinstry scoring 6 out of 10 of his three point attempts contributing towards his team high of 20 points for the game. Baxter Fenwick scored a double double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Others in double figures were Corbin Giddy and Nathan Morgan who both scored 10 points.
