Sixty boys and girls attended an Under 13 clinic on Sunday March 20th and 27th held at the BHS Gymnasium and TSB Stadium. Well supported by parents and caregivers, the youngsters were taken through the basic fundamentals of the game and given some tools to work with to develop their own individual skills.

Older age group players came along and supported the U13 Rep Coaches Eileen Hall and Kevin Fenwick by demonstrating some of the drills the athletes could take home and practice in their own backyards.  

'These athletes are the future of our game and the foundation for NPBA's age group program for the next ten years' the coaches commented. 'We believe there are more athletes out there wanting to play this great game and we want to provide opportunities for them to get involved'

The girls continue next week with U13 squad training at Sacred Heart Girls College gym 10:00am -12:00pm on Sundays. The boys have a break next weekend and commence again on April 10th 10:00am at NP Boys High School gym.
