Teams from New Plymouth to Napier to Wellington will travel to New Plymouth over the weekend of April 15 - 17 to compete in the BBNZ Zone 3 Premiership Tournament. Age Group Rep teams from Zone 3 Associations will compete for the right to participate in the BBNZ National U17 Tournament to be held at the home of the Breakers on the North Shore from June 3 -6.

The top four boys and girls teams from each of the four zones across New Zealand will earn the right to participate at the 32 team National tournament.

NPBA recently held trials and selected three teams to participate the Zone 3 tournament - one girls team coached by Trent Adam, the Boys A team coached by Bruce Bayly and a Boys Development team coached by Linda Giddy.
