BBNZ can not guarantee that team requests will be catered for in the draw, but have tried to accommodate where possible. Please be aware, as there are many teams making similar requests not all could be fulfilled.
Seeding/Pools
Seeding of teams is taken from the 2009 BBNZ A & AA Secondary School National Championship and the 2009 Premiership Tournament team placing. The result from external (non BBNZ) competitions and/or tournaments is not part of the seeding process.
Team Roster
Please ensure that all your players are registered with the BBNZ office and are eligible to compete in the tournament. If any of your players require waivers, please ensure the BBNZ office has a copy and that your team has a copy on hand incase your team is asked to supply proof of eligibility.
that each team roster is only eligible to list and play a maximum quota of ‘2’ new to school students.
Score Bench Duty
Each team is expected to complete scorebench duty. The New Plymouth BA will provide score bench duty for the first games of each day. New Plymouth BA will endeavour to fill as many games with volunteers as possible, but at this stage each team will be required to provide a minimum of three bench members for duty for the game directly after their games played.
