Waikato Secondary School Premier Girls Basketball Final
Krystal Leger-Walker top scored for St Peters with 30pts while younger sister Charlisse Leger-Walker scored 18pts. Amie Russell was active at both ends of the court with 12 pts.
Hamilton Girls High School (HGHS) coasted to a comfortable 62-38 victory over Melville High School in the third and fourth play off. Ashton Morris top scored for HGHS with 18 pts.
Good luck to all Waikato secondary school teams competitin at the upcoming New Zealand Secondary School tournament in Palmerston North next week.
