Phoenix League Trials for 2017 (Club competition)
Auckland Basketball Services is pleased to announce that in 2017 we will launch a new competitive club basketball competition called the Phoenix League. This is a premium development opportunity for players aspiring to develop their talent within our athlete pathway. The Phoenix League is a 7 week competition in term one and four involving five clubs spread across Auckland at the U15 and U17 level. U13 level will be begin later in 2017. Games will be held on Saturday’s and played under full FIBA rules with 7-minute stop clock quarters.
Please find information below around your local clubs and their trial dates. We encourage any athlete to trail in their local area with the exception of selected representative players chosen for the 2017 season who are not eligible to play in this league (there will be some exceptions to this for bottom age players).
