Chevannah Paalvast - Junior Tall Ferns & Emerging Tall Ferns

  • Currently overseas playing NCAA College Basketball in United States of America.  (Monmouth Hawks)
  • Has made various BBNZ Tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was a member of the Massey High Girls team which finished 5th at nationals in 2008.

Moengaroa Subritzky - Emerging Junior Tall Ferns

  • Attended Church College where she was a member of the national champion team in 2009 and made the tournament team.  
  • In 2010 attended Auckland Girls Grammar and was a member of the team that finished 3rd at nationals and made the tournament team.
  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was MVP at 2007 Under 15 nationals.

Emma Gillespie - Emerging Tall Ferns

  • Has made various tournament teams in the senior age groups. 
  • Has won many outstanding awards at BWC prizegivings.
  • Continually improving which is shown from her dedication and hard work whenever she competes.

Adoniah Lewis - NZ Under 20 team

  • Currently overseas playing NCAA Women's basketball in United States of America.
  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.

Penina Davidson - NZ Under 16 team

  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was a member of the NZ team which finished 7th at the 2010 U16 Australian Champs.
  • Was MVP in 2010 NZ Under 16 team.
  • Is the queen of double-doubles or triple-doubles.
  • Was a member of the 2010 Under 17 BWC team which won nationals.

Morgan Roberts - NZ Under 17 team

  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was a member of the NZ team which finished 2nd at the 2010 U17 FIBA Oceania Champs.
  • Was a member of the 2010 Under 17 BWC team which won nationals.
  • Was MVP at 2010 Under 17 nationals.

Te Oramae Solomon - NZ Under 17 team

  • Was a member of the 2010 Under 17 BWC team which won which won nationals.
  • Was a member of the NZ team which finished 2nd at the 2010 U17 FIBA Oceania Champs.
  • A fantastic team player who does a tremendous job both on offence and defence.

Keziah Lewis - NZ Under 16 team

  • Was a member of the 2010 Under 17 BWC team which won which won nationals.
  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in most age groups.
  • Was a member of the NZ team which finished 7th at the 2010 U16 Australian Champs.

Lindsay Tait - Tall Blacks

  • Was a member of the Avondale College team which won Nationals in 2004.
  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups and been MVP at most of them.
  • He was a member of the Auckland Stars NBL team (2000-2007) and the Wellington Saints NBL team (2008-current).
  • He was the MVP in the 2005 NBL and the 2010 NBL. He has been in the All Star-5 team 6 times (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2010).
  • He has won the NBL 4 times. He won the NBL in 2000, 2004 & 2005, with the Auckland Stars, and 2010 with the Wellington Exodus Saints team.
  • He has played for the NZ Breakers (04-05, 05-06, 06-07), Wollongong Hawks (07/08) and is currently playing for the Cairns Taipans in the 2010/2011 ANBL season.
  • He debuted for the Tall Blacks in 2003 and is still a current member.
  • He won a silver medal at the Melbourne Commonwealth games in 2006.

Houston O'Riley - Harbour Heat & NZ Breakers Development team

  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was a member of the Kelston Boys team which finished third at nationals in 2007.
  • Was MVP at the 2009 Under 21 nationals.
  • Won the 2009 Under 21 Nationals with West Auckland Association.
  • Was a member of the BWC Mens team which finished 2nd at the 2010 Super City Basketball Competition (SCBC).
  • Was MVP for the SCBC 2010 and CBL 2009.
  • He debuted for the Harbour Heat in 2010.

Tyrone Davey - Taranaki Mountain Airs

  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups and has been MVP at most.
  • Has made various NZ representative teams through the age groups.
  • Won the Rookie of the Year Award in the 2009 NBL season with Auckland Stars.
  • Has played for the Auckland Stars (2009) and the Taranaki Mountain Airs (2010) in the NBL.

Duane Bailey - Emerging Junior Tall Blacks & NZ Under 20 team

  • Has made various BBNZ tournament teams in all age groups.
  • Was a member of the Hamilton Fraser High team which won the 2010 secondary school nationals.
  • Made the tournament team at the 2010 Secondary School Nationals.
  • Is currently playing for the Manawatu Jets in the 2011 NBL season having signed a two year contract.

Patrich Bolstad - Emerging NZ Breakers team

  • Won the 2009 Under 21 Nationals with West Auckland Association.
  • Was a member of the BWC Mens team which finished 2nd at the 2010 Super City Basketball Competition (SCBC).

Charles Epati - NZ Under 20 team

  • Was part of the Mt. Albert Grammar team which finished 10th in 2009 at nationals.
  • Has won many outstanding awards at BWC prizegivings.
  • Is one of New Zealands top up and coming referees having done Age group national tournaments and Secondary School tournaments.
  • Always gives 110% no matter what he does.

Christoph Fahrensohn - NZ Under 20 team

  • Won the 2009 Under 21 Nationals with West Auckland Association.
  • Was a member of the BWC Mens team which finished 2nd at the 2010 Super City Basketball Competition (SCBC).

Aik Ho - Tall Ferns Assistant Coach & NZ Under 16 Girls Coach

  • Has won various nationals titles with Women's teams.  His most recent was helping the Under 15 and Under 17 girls win nationals in 2010.
  • BWC Operations Manager 2008-current.
  • The pioneer of Womens basketball.  Is a very successful coach and has helped change Womens basketball for the best in New Zealand.
  • Coached the GABBA Gators WBC team in 2009 who finished 9th.  Coached the NZ Force Womens team in 2010 who finished 3rd. 
  • Had a young inexperienced WBC team but has taught the girls how to compete against the best players in New Zealand.
  • Has been Tall Ferns Assistant coach since 2008.
  • Coached the NZ Under 16 Womens team which finished 7th at the 2010 U16 Australian Champs.

Greg Davidson - NZ Under 17 Girls Coach

  • Coached the NZ Under 17 Womens team which finished 2nd at the 2010 Oceania Champs.
  • Coached the BWC Under 17 girls team who won nationals in 2010.
  • Coached the BWC Under 15 girls team who finished 2nd in 2008 and 2009.

Ollie Bryce - NZ Under 20 Mens Coach

  • Has won various BBNZ national tournaments with Mens teams (including Auckland Basketball Association National Champions Under 18s Boys 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, and Under 20s Men 1996 & 2000).
  • Has also won many titles with school teams.
  • He has coached the North Hrabour Heat NBL team and coached the University Southern Maine team in United States of America.
  • The University Southern Maine team reached the Final Four in the NCAA Division III and finished as the 3rd best team in USA for their division.

Pirihira Puata - NZ U14 Boys Team Manager

  • Has managed the U13 BWC boys team who have won back to back national titles in 2009 & 2010.  Is a fantastic manager who is very organised and one step ahead of everyone.

Michelle Theyers - NZ U16 Girls Team Manager

  • Has managed the U17, U19, U21 and Open BWC Womens teams. Does a tremendous job and loves making everyone smile through her enthusiasm, personality and determination.
