BBNZ Development Cluster Camp # 3

Development Cluster Camp 3 – 23 or 24 August 2008


Development Cluster Camps are run by Basketball New Zealand to provide regional development
and talent identification opportunities for players, coaches and support staff.

Cost $35 per athlete

Each athlete must bring: ball, water bottle, towel, light/dark training singlet and lunch

Cluster Camps form a key part of BBNZ’s player, coach and support staff pathway providing opportunities for identification on a
national level. Cluster Camps are the entry point for the BBNZ programmes and are for ‘identified’ athletes only. The third
Cluster Camp for 2008 will take place on Saturday 23 or Sunday 24 August 2008

U15 Athletes who have been identified by BBNZ and are on the Cluster Camp athlete identification list. This list can be found at
www.basketball.org.nz/athletes/.
U13 Athletes who have been identified by BBNZ and are on the Cluster Camp athlete identification list. This list can be found at
www.basketball.org.nz/athletes/.
ALL coaches and support staff looking for further development opportunities and/or exposure to BBNZ activities.

Links to 2009 Koru Development Tour 

Athletes will be identified to attend the 2009 Koru Tour primarily from the Cluster Camp programme.
Players and coaches seeking to be part of the Koru Development Tour to Australia in 2009 should attend and must nominate
their availability for selection. This tour is to Australia in January 2009 and will cost approx $2,600. However the Cluster Camp
programme is NOT limited to Koru Tour trialists. Athletes unable to participate on the Koru tour are still encouraged to attend.

Athletes must send back their registration form and payment by Friday 15th August
