· National Champions Under 20 Men 1996, 2000
· 5 Regional championships prior to national competition Under 18
Greatest moment in basketball: these are numerous, but the one that stands out the most is my time in Maine.
· University Southern Maine - Final Four NCAA Division III and being the 3rd best team in USA for our division.
Prefer to coach boys or Girls and Why? I don't mind what teams I am involved with. Through circumstances I have ended up working with male teams most of my time.
Strangest place ever played basketball: I remember a coaching session in a community that had no gym or hall and we used a barn with hay and broken boards for a floor, and the hoop was a netball ring on a centre pole ..... we worked on dribbling only a little, passing and ball handling lol.
Favourite player: For New Zealand my favourite player is Pero Cameron because of the many little things he does as a player such as passing and his decision making and his leadership qualities.
Personal - Any other sports: I am very interested in windsurfing and try and get out as much as I can.
Hobbies: computers and surfing the web are things I like to do especially for basketball stuff.
Favourite music: it really depends on the mood I am in, my tastes a varied from some of the classic stuff to Tupac and ACDC.
Favourite food: Well I do like food, and I'll try most things at least once usually the bad things I eat to much
Favourite movies: Kiss of the dragon, with Jet Li is one that comes to mind. I prefer the action genre.
Favourite literature (books, mags etc): Other than basketball books or mags, I like biographies on interesting people like Phil Jackson, (Lakers Coach) Pat Riley Heat Coach) looking at how they have done well in their careers and Lee Child books. I've read the whole series on the Jack Reacher character.

I've been lucky as I have number of models.
