Selection Process
Trials for the Pacific Coast Slam at Port Macquarie will be headed by:
Mata Cameron (NZ Under 16 Girls Assistant Coach)
Jodi Cameron (NZ Tall Fern and NHBA)
Pero Cameron (NZ Tall Black and Coach Wellington Saints)
Trials - 4th August (Zone 1) - Allan Brewster Stadium, Papatoetoe
All U15 & U17 Boys (9.00-12.00)
All U15 & U17 Girls (1.00-4.00pm)
Cost $15 to trial
You can attend the trials for the Pacific Coast Slam by:
- Being given an invitation to trial (letter) at the Easter tournament
- Being U15 or U17 in 2014
- Being nominated to trial by one of the Associations making up Basketball Pacific
(North Harbour Basketball, Basketball Waikato, Counties-Manukau Basketball Rotorua Basketball, Thames Valley Basketball, Tauranga City Basketball, Northland Basketball, Waitakere West Auckland). Or nominated by New Plymouth Basketball Association, Palmerston North Basketball Association.
- The cost for players to register at the final is $15 per player. (This covers 3 hours of Basketball Ball skills development, plus information on player pathways – all run by Basketball Pacific coaches, including Teresa Cargo, Mata Cameron and Ollie Bryce.
