Event Details
The Northern Territory Softball Association is once again pleased to be involved with the Arafura Games. Australian States and countries that have attended the Arafura Games Softball in the past include Northern Territory, Australian Defence Force, Western Australia, Brunei, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Nauru, Northern Marianas, Papua New Guinea and the United States (College Teams).
Event Location
The tournament returns to the Gardens Oval Complex, only five minutes drive from the centre of Darwin. The venue has recently had major renovations carried out and is a first-class facility. All diamonds are grassed with temporary fencing. There is a clubhouse with bistro within the complex.
Event Rules
The tournament will be played in accordance with the rules under the 2002-2005 Australian Softball Federation Official Rules of Softball. The competition will be played in both Men's and Women's divisions.

Will there be any umpire courses conducted?
During the week prior to the competition, the NT Softball Association will conduct advanced Umpiring Clinics supported by Softball Australia.
During the tournament, umpires will have the opportunity to be assessed for their next level of accreditation. All umpires are invited to participate in the clinic and umpire during the Games.
