Event Details
The competition will be for all participants under the rules of eligibility of Arafura Games charter, and thus will be open to national development teams, regions, universities and service teams. The competition will be a 50 over, one day, round robin competition.
Event Location
The majority of the competition will be staged at the Marrara Cricket Ground, which is in close proximity to the Games Hub and many other sporting venues. Where necessary other grounds around Darwin will be used. All grounds have excellent quality turf wickets.
The Cricket competitions will commence on Sunday 15 May 2005 with finals to be held at the Marrara Cricket Grounds on the following Saturday 21 May 2005.
Event Rules
All games will be conducted under the official rules of Cricket. All teams will receive a program with a competition draw and By-Laws.
Round Robin competition will be followed by Finals (1 v 2, 3 v 4) to determine medal placing's.
