The 10th Pacific Mini Games will be held in Vanuatu from 4-15 December 2017, with a total of 14 sports on the program: Archery, Athletics, Basketball 3x3, Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Football, Golf, Judo, Karate, Netball, Rugby 7s, Table Tennis, Tennis and Weightlifting.
On 4 September 2011, at the Council's annual General Assembly in Noumea, Vanuatu defeated Northern Mariana Islands and Nauru to secure the rights to host the 10th Pacific Mini Games in 2017.
2017 will mark the second occasion on which Vanuatu have hosted the Pacific Mini Games, following their earlier edition in 1993.

LE 4 septembre 2011, lors de l'Assembée Annuelle du Conseil à Noumea, la Vanuatu à vaincu Mariana du Nord et Nauru pour garantir les droits à l'organisation des Xeme Mini Jeux du Pacifique en 2017.

On 1 September 2017, the Council’s Executive Board awarded the rights to host the 16th Pacific Games in 2019 to the Pacific Games Association of Samoa.
This followed a three month expression of interest and evaluation process instigated by the decision of the Government of Tonga in May 2017 to withdraw from hosting the 2019 Pacific Games after Tonga had originally won the bid in 2012.
2019 will mark the third occasion on which Samoa will be hosting the Pacific Games, after 1983 and 2007.
The 16th Pacific Games will be held from 8-20 July 2019.

On 4 July 2014, at the Council's annual General Assembly in Port Moresby, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) secured the rights to host the 11th Pacific Mini Games in 2021.
2021 will mark the first time that CNMI have hosted the Games, as the Pacific Games movement returns to Micronesia for the first time since the 2005 Pacific Mini Games in Palau.
CNMI offered a program of 14 sports as follows - Athletics, Badminton, Baseball (Men), Golf, Sailing, Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon, Va'a, Volleyball (Beach & Indoor), Weightlifting and Wrestling.

On 11 May 2016, at the Council’s annual General Assembly in Port Vila, Solomon Islands defeated Tahiti Nui by a narrow margin to secure the rights to host the 17th Pacific Games in 2023.
Solomon Islands, led by Prime Minister Manesseh Sogavare, were delighted to be awarded the rights to host the 2023 Games, after coming up short in several previous bids.
2023 will mark the first occasion on which Solomon Islands will be hosting the Pacific Games, and they will become the 8th host country of the Pacific Games.
The dates of the 17th Pacific Games is yet to be determined.
