Jacksonville University’s Division I Women’s Lacrosse team is looking at recruiting Australian players, for a great opportunity to play Lacrosse at a private school in Florida. Our school is located in a major city that is home to great beaches, decent surfing, and a great lifestyle. We play a run-and-gun style and we are a family oriented program. We believe the best part of our player's day should be practice time! Our players love to play, love to run, and love to compete!
In 2011 we won the National Lacrosse Conference championship and in 2013 we join the Atlantic Sun conference which will carry an NCAA automatic bid. We hope to earn that bid each year. We have 75 majors at JU and the small class size is ideal for learning. We carry scholarships for both athletics and academics. We look for strong students who love lacrosse!
We feel that we are one or two international players away from competing for a national title. While our primary goal is to provide a GREAT experience to all of our student-athletes, we are all very competitive people and would like to compete for NCAA titles as the program continues to grow each year.
If any Australian U19 or national caliber players who are looking for great opportunities and want to get a great education, please check out these websites for more information about JU or contact Paul McCord at julacrosse@gmail.com
