Jason Butty stands tall and did so for the Warriors when they needed it last Saturday against the Colts. Jason was a force in the backline in the all important second quarter when the Warriors were into the wind his aerial work and poise set up the win for the Warriors. Playing as a spare in defence Jason dominated. He was a key player as well when the Warriors had the wind. The WRFL media team judged him as the Player of the Day and he received the AscotVale Sports and Trophies Medal plus the dinner at the Tigers Clubhouse in Hoppers Crossing. Well done Jason.
