The Nomads have ben somewhat of a surprise this season, and until recently, the Premiership favourites. They have faced a tough couple of months on the road, but still hold onto second spot on the TAFL ladder and are still a big threat to take the flag.
Best win - There's a couple that could be in this category. The Saints by 4 points in Round 5, or the thriller in Tamworth against the Roos come to mind, but travelling to Muswellbrook with an inexperienced lineup must also rate.
MVP - The usual suspects have stood up all year, but it's the new comers that have impressed the most. With David Graan marshalling the troops from the middle and Simon Stubbs providing a big target up front they have been imposing. Coach Tom Granleese is probably the best full back in the competition at the moment and has been a rock all season.
Big games ahead - They need to win these next two games on the road before a home run to finish, which includes the Roos and Saints. You could argue all of their 5 games to come are huge.
Report mark - A
