With ground closures at Gunnedah and Tamworth, the attempt to catch up on matches from round 9 failed this week and both matches have been abandoned.
This is now the third time that games between Gunnedah and Muswellbrook and the two Tamworth rivals have not been able to be played.
The Executive has determined that no results from round 9 will be eligible in the determining of winners of the Gillies Medal (best and fairest), Griffiths Medal (leading goal kicker) or the Sporting Pulse Award.
With just one round before the finals, the top four is set. The New England Nomads can still claim third spot and a home final, but will need to beat Gunnedah at home next week and hope the Narrabri Eagles can upset the Tamworth Swans at Number One Oval.
A double header awaits footy fans in Tamworth, with the Swans taking on the Eagles before the Inverell Saints take on the Muswellbrook Cats. The Country Energy Tamworth AFL Gillies Medal Count and Presentation Night will be held from 7pm that evening in the Blazes Showroom of Wests Leagues Club.
