The Swans could be left to say "What If" at season's end following a run of close matches this campaign. They have lost 5 games by 20 points or less this season, and if they can win even two of those, they would be firmly entrenched in the top 4 right now. They can play some inspiring footy at times, but have run out of steam in the second half of some matches. But if they can sneak into finals footy, they will be more than a threat.
Best win - They started the season off on fire and looked like they could be a huge force in the competition. The Round 1 win over the Nomads was pretty impressive, but the thriller over the Dogs in Round 3 is probably their best.
MVP - Its the usual suspects here - but they have provided the find of the season in Ross Fraser. But Damien Wendt and Gavin Knee continue to produce and it wouldn't surprise if both were near the leaderboard of the Gilles Medal at the end of the season.
Big games ahead - Basically each of their 5 games are huge. If they can get wins over the Cats and Dogs they put themselves back in finals contention, and a repeat win over a weary Nomads in a couple of weeks could be just the tonic to spur them up for a visit to the finals.
