The Bulldogs had an up and down 2010 season with some huge wins and big losses. Their real highlights were handing out a big hiding to eventual Grand Finalist Tamworth Kangaroos in round 8. They finished their year off in a last hurrah beating the Nomads in Armidale forcing the Nomads into 4th spot and missing out on a home final.
The Bulldogs have a new coach for 2011 in club stalwart Peter Chapman. Chapman takes over from his father Dave and will have a big challenge ahead of him. Dave has again been returned as President and will continue to be the backbone of the club.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs their President Dave Chapman reports they have had some big player losses over the summer. Their biggest loss is club champion Scott Hardy. Hardy has moved to Campbelltown. They have also lost Josh Edwards, Banora Point, Troy Garling, returned home to Darwin and Adam Waugh has retired after breaking his leg. As yet they have not claimed a big name recruit but are working on it and are talking to some local youngsters. They started training on the 13th of January.
Prediction: I think this year is going to be a rebuilding year for the Bulldogs. And as such expect them to finish 6th.
