PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO VENUE AND COURSE!
As you may be aware, Lake Burley Griffin has been closed as a precautionary measure due to traces of blue-green algae being found in some areas. Although the lake may be re-opened on or before race day, Triathlon ACT has relocated the race to a nearby pool in order to guarantee a swim leg in this important race. The start time and race format have also changed.
The good news is that the changes to the race have resulted in an even more exciting, scenic run and bike course!

Sport Fee:
$45.00 Individual: Triathlon Australia/Triathlon ACT member
$50.00 Individual: non-member (includes One Race Membership)
$60.00 per team - TA members (extra $5 per team participant who is not a TA member, covers one race m'ship)

Course maps, description & race briefing will be emailed to competitors this week and will also be available inside the Sport Programs which can be picked up at Accreditation (Labor Club).

Declaration:
1. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry I do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assignees release and forever discharge the Association, organisers, their servants, agents or sub-contractors, instrumentalities, cities, states our councils where this event is held, all sponsors, their agents, representatives and successors and all persons involved with the conduct of this event from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs or expenses, demands or actions whatsoever in any manner arising or resulting from my participation in this event.
2. I attest and verify that I am fully aware of the risks involved in participating in endurance events and hereby undertake that should I have any physical or mental condition which has the potential to put myself or any other person at risk, or if I am not sufficiently training to complete such an event, I will not participate in an endurance event conducted by, or on behalf of, the Association.
3. I agree to abide by, and accept any decision made under, the articles of association of the Association or any rules adopted by the Association for the conduct of Triathlon of any other activity.
4. I acknowledge I have sole responsibility for my personal possessions and equipment during the event and its related activities. I also consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during the event. I agree to read any written race briefing provided to me by the Race Organisers as a condition of my race entry being accepted. I attest I am a current member of Triathlon Australia through my State/Territory Triathlon Association or that I have
purchased a one-day race membership.
