Welcome Drinks - Thursday 30th October

Softball Canberra will be hosting Welcome Drinks on Thursday night 30th October in the Hawker Clubhouse from 7p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
The bar will be open for service.
If you have arrived in town by this time, drop by and have a casual "hello" drink with other team members and the staff of Softball Canberra in the clubhouse upstairs in the Main Building. more -->

Calcutta Night - Monday 3rd November

Softball Canberra will be hosting a "Calcutta Night" commencing at 7.30 p.m. There is no entry fee, just come along and bid for the horses in the race that stops a nation. Team sweeps will also be available i.e. $1.00 per ticket AND last but not least, after the Calcutta Night, we swing into live music provided by a local Canberra band. Melbourne Cup Afternoon - Tuesday 4th November

The race that stops a Nation will be televised on the big screens. Games will cease at 1 p.m.
This is a "come-as-you-are" afternoon, no need to go back to accommodation and change. Canteen facilities will be available to purchase lunch. more -->

Dug-Out Dinner - Thursday 6th November

This is our big night to party !!
Softball Canberra is hosting the largest softball dinner ever held at Hawker on this night. Tickets are FREE to all playing participants, (persons that have paid $154) but any Accompanying Persons must purchase a ticket from the Games Info for $25.00 prior to 4th November. The evening commences at 7.30 p.m. with a sumptuous meal and good wine. All drinks are purchase as you go. We have some good music with a live band, dancing and great atmosphere.
Our special guests will be the ACT Minister for Sport, Mr. Ted Quinlan and the GM of AMG, Mr. Lachlan Clark. Come join the fun, have a great night and stay till late.
The menu will be advised at a later date.

Party Time !!! - Saturday 8th November

After the medal ceremonies, the marquee will be open for drinks and celebrations. Come share your joys and show off your medals. more -->

Closing Ceremony - Sunday 9th November

If you are still in town, in the afternoon, we want to see you at the Closing Ceremony at the AIS commencing at 3 p.m. Please be there by 2.30 p.m. Don't be late, we want to see the biggest contingent of softball players to be there enjoying the farewell festivities.
