Note: Participants cannot be assured of playing at a particular
venue. A maximum of 450 entries will be accepted for the golf
competition.
Participants travelling together should indicate this on each Games Entry Form.
The competitions will be conducted under the rules of the Royal and
Ancient Cub of St. Andrews, Scotland together with the local
rules of the host club. All participants must be amateurs and
hold an AGU or WGA handicap or equivalent handicap issued by the
National Association of the player's home country.
The Match Committee may adjust a player's handicap for the duration of the competitions.
Age Groups:
Men 35 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+
Women 35 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+
Playing Groups
Each age group has been allocated to one of two playing groups, the BLUE GROUP and the YELLOW GROUP, based on age and gender.
Wherever possible, requests on the registration forms for grouping together have been accommodated, but as the competitions are in age and gender groupings this has not always been possible.
