Sport Fee:
$30.00 p.p. for the first event
$10.00 p.p. for each additional event
Coaches/Managers not `on the boat' will need to pay the Sports
Fee and the Games Fee if they wish to receive a medal.
NB: The fee for additional events will be waived for registered
members of Dragons Abreast clubs.

(9 Nov will only be required due to team numbers and weather)
Individuals who wish to participate may enter on an individual basis and every endeavour will be made to place them in a team. Individuals
should contact the organiser to discuss their particular requirements.

27+ Age Group 10's crews - Open Mixed Women
27+ Age Group 20's crews - Open Mixed Women Social
45+ Age Group 20's crews - Mixed
Dragons Abreast 10's crews .
Dragon Boat Specific Information:
1. All races will be conducted over 250 metres unless otherwise specified.
2. Events are dependent upon entries.
3. 20's teams will consist of a minimum of 18 people ( 16 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 sweep) and a maximum of 27 people ( 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 sweep, 1 coach/manager and 4 reserve paddlers).
4. 10's teams will consist of a minimum of 12 people ( 10 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 sweep) and a maximum of 15 people ( 10 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 sweep, 1 coach/manager and 2 reserve paddlers).
5. Women's teams - drummer and the sweep may be of either gender.
6. Mixed teams - A crew must contain equal numbers of male & female paddlers (i.e. 9 men & 9 women would be OK).
7. Open teams - may be any combination of men and women.
8. Social teams - may contain a maximum of 2 paddlers who have
previously competed for a dragon boat club in `sports' events at regattas. Where the eligibility of an individual participant in a social team is disputed, the Organising Committee's decision will be final.
9. 27 years+ Age group - all paddlers must be at least 27 years old on the 1 Jan 2003.
10.45 years+ Age group - all paddlers must be at least 45 years old on the 1 Jan 2003.
11.The rules of competition will follow the Australian Dragon Boat Federation racing regulations with minor amendments for local
conditions. The final rules and regulations will be provided in the Sports Program (published Oct 2003) or are available on request from the organiser.
