LYVNA Teams Freeze at Frankston
9 of our LYVNA teams travelled the long distance, endured the 7:30am start and freezing conditions to attend the Frankston tournament on Sunday 3rd July.
The conditions for most of the day were horrible, consistent rain, freezing wind, cold temperatures. To the girls and everyone's credit, we soldiered through and ended up having a very successful day.
All our 15U and 13U teams made it at least to the semi-finals (11U sections don’t play finals). Our 15-2 and 15-3 teams won the Grand Final in their divisions and the 13-1 team made it through to the Grand Final undefeated but unfortunately lost the last game of the day.
Our 11U team 1 and 2 only lost one or two games during the day, with our 11-3 team showing their continual improvement, ending up undefeated.
Again a great day out for all, but I think everyone may have been wishing they were sitting in front of a fire at some stage during the day.
