The Tracy Village Jets bumped off the Uni Rebels 79-47 to extend their winning streak to 14 after 4 rounds of the DBA Challenge Season. Leading 36-26 at half time the Bombers busted the game wide open in the third quarter as they went off on a 21-6 scoring spree that gave them a 57-32 advantage that proved too much of a hurdle for the Rebels to overcome. Five Bombers hit double figures with Keisha Tinley leading the way with 17. Kylie Duggan had 13, Sam Rioli & Tara Maxwell 12 each and Abby Cubillo 10. Danielle Totham hauled in 14 rebounds (9 of them offensive). Jenni Low Choy hit 17 with 13 boards for the Rebels with Tamara Sheppard (13 & 13) and Jaylene Bonson (10) lending support. Deearne Lee hit a basket for the Lightning with 2:02 remaining for a 50-44 lead, but that was the last score for them. Johnston kept on pressing and hit two baskets during the remaining two minutes, but Palmerston fell short of sending the game into overtime.
